How to read the current exchange-rate board

The official BCB exchange rate is the active TCO value published by the Central Bank. Buy and Sell shows an estimated buy reference and a sell cap derived from that TCO. The Parallel Dollar is a non-official market signal estimated from public P2P data.

Check the reference that matches your situation and keep the three separate. For example, a card charge, cash exchange, remittance, or business quote may use different terms. Banks, platforms, exchange houses, providers, and card processors may apply their own fees, spreads, limits, timing, settlement dates, and rules.
